The Trouble Ticket Express can check for software updates automatically. The system neither downloads nor installs a new code on its own. If software update is available, the help desk system shows blinking notification on the first page after logging into the system.
Each time an operator logs in to the Trouble Ticket Express, the system inserts an html code that results in downloading an image from our web site. Each request leaves an entry in our web server access log file, this is how we collect information for the live monitor.
Please note that Trouble Ticket Express software installed on your web server never tries to contact our servers. The software update checks happen at the web browser level only.
